So where can you go to get debt help? You have many choices including credit repair companies and credit counseling services. The choice would depend on the severity of your debt, but you cannot go wrong if you just start somewhere. If your first choice cannot help you, they would point you towards someone who could help you with your debt problem.

You only need to watch for individuals and companies who would gladly take your money and not provide any service in return. These scams are prevalent on the Internet and you should check out the company or individual before you put any money down. Of course, you can seek help from one of many nonprofit firms set up to help people in debt. Look in your Yellow Pages for their telephone number and address.

You can also scan self-help guides that apply to debt management. These you can find either online, or in your local bookstore. Your local library might also have these handy guides that will help you manage your debts on your own. Self-help can also include contacting your creditors directly. This is a good way to win points with your creditors. Creditors like to hear from delinquent or near-delinquent debtors before the debt becomes unmanageable. You should not use this hoping to salvage your reputation because it would not work. You need to talk with your creditors early.

Working with a credit counseling agency is a good place to get help in the early stages of your debt problems. They can help you come up with a plan to present to your creditors. Credit counseling is not for everyone because while they can help you, you must have some way out of your debt. Their advice can help most people for the present and to avoid further debt. However, some people are beyond credit counseling. If you are one of them, you will find out quickly and given a number to call a trustee in bankruptcy. But here we are assuming you have a ray of hope and can contribute some funds to your financial rescue plan.

Your credit counselor will get you involved in a debt management program that would benefit both you and your creditors. Through this program you will list your sources of income and bills you are paying each month to all of your creditors. The goal is either to reduce your monthly payments, or the number of times you write checks to several creditors. Writing one check each month is the ideal arrangement but your situation may be different, and you can do something else. You can benefit from this program by getting current credit advice, and avoiding the unpleasant task of declaring bankruptcy.

Debt help is common and not something you should fear. We make mistakes and should correct them once we recognize them. Correcting them means taking responsibility for our situation. If you have a problem with your debt load, you should put out a call for help before it gets worse.

There are over 500 online companies offering money for people who want to work from home doing surveys and earn a full-time income. Beware of such sites that promise you riches for nothing; they’re a scam.

While there are some legitimate sites that pay a few dollars to take a ten minute survey, there are others that are not legitimate. Many of these sites simply exist to gather your personal information and sell it to telemarketing companies. A few of them are downright scams that require a “sign-up” fee in exchange for the privilege of working from home.

One of the sites I’ve seen across is jobslover.com. This site not only offers you “up to $75 an hour” for completing surveys in the privacy of your own home, it also advertises just about every “work from home” scam there is. Most of these schemes are aimed at women who are trying to make a few extra dollars while staying home with the kids.

I’ve written many articles about paid surveys and was happy to find that there are some legitimate companies out there on the internet. But I’m halfway intelligent and can usually smell a scam from a mile away (two miles on a clear day). And as soon as I clicked on jobslover.com, the stench overwhelmed me.

P.T. Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute. Unfortunately, he was spot on in his assessment of human nature. Sadly, there are many predators out there who are only too glad to take someone’s hard-earned money with the promise of a “get rich quick” scheme.

Jobslover is only too glad to hook you up with paid surveys that promise to pay $5-$75 an hour. The site will direct you to a survey site where you can participate in surveys. What Jobslover (dot) com doesn’t tell you is that these sites can be accessed by any individual with internet experience without paying a dime.

In addition to offering “opportunity” for paid surveys, Jobslover.com offers other “opportunities” such as “typing from home,” “medical transcription from home,” “data entry from home” work at home and other schemes aimed mostly at uneducated women. All of these “golden opportunities” are good for any one who wants to work from home for easy money making at home.

Another way for making money and building your home based business is Adsenselover (dot) com. This is the amazing money making package for online money making with Google Adsense Program. It automatically generate money day and night money for you. Its a best way to build your adsense wealth empire business on internet. People who have no time to spare for paid survey they can start their automate business with Adsenselovers Adsense Wealth Empire Guide to make money at home. Adsenselover provides every tool and top paying adsense ready sites package and lots of free ebooks and software set to start your own home based internet business.
The site is merely a money making portal. Of all the sites on the internet I’ve investigated while researching this topic, this is the worst. I implore anyone who is interested in participating in paid surveys to beware of the following:

    - Do not give out your credit card number, social security number or bank information to any online site.

    - Beware of any site that promises “thousands of dollars a month” for working from home. I’ve done a lot of research into paid surveys; if it were that easy, no one would work outside the home.

    - Do not pay “upfront” for the privilege of doing a survey. Legitimate companies will not ask for a fee.

    - Paid surveys are a way to make supplemental income; not a living. You can expect to make maybe $200 a month doing this.

    - Before signing up for any online survey site, do a little bit of research. The honest ones will tell you that you won’t make a lot of money and will have stringent privacy policies.

    - Do not, under any circumstances, ever participate in any survey about health insurance. I made this mistake once and now get about five calls a day from people trying to sell me health insurance.

    - If you are participating in a survey and are directed to another website, do not feel you have to answer any questions on that site. Many times there will be “fine print” that charges your telephone number for trying a product. In addition to this, keep close tabs on your telephone bill.

    - Each time you log on to your computer, clear your cookies.

Participating in paid surveys can be a fun way to earn a few extra dollars, gift cards or discount certificates. Do not expect to “get rich” doing this. And under no circumstances ever pay for the “privilege” of doing a surve

Other debt services that are available to many people are various loans. There are debt consolidation loans and home equity loans that can help you to bring down your debt and pay it off gradually.

When you are looking at loan services, you want to look for a loan that has an interest rate that is lower than you are already paying. Do not be afraid to compare various loan from different companies. This is often the best way to deal with your debt if you have the choice.

    Debt Negotiation

There are professional companies that offer debt negotiation services as well. These services can help you lower debt by having a staff member negotiate a deal with your creditors for you. They can aslo negotiate a payment plan that is more reasonable and manageable.

Often, these services can help you lower the interest on high interest credit cards so what you are paying each month will go more to the principal of what you owe. Often, debt negotiation can result in you being able to pay off your debt in a lump sum by reducing your total debt.

These methods of debt help all offer great benefits if you will take advantage of them. If you are in debt and need help getting out of it, consider the many debt help services. These services help you manage your financial state of affairs, and allow you to get your life back on track.

    Get Rich Quick Scams Revealed
Read this article before you consider paying for a “get rich quick” program.
    From: Make Hundreds Of Dollars
Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I’ve spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any “get rich quick” programs worth buying. I’ve been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn’t require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them.
Now, I’ve seen a lot of “get rich quick” programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it’d be because they had high- traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I’d know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I’d make daily with their programs. Maybe you’ve already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered.
I decided I’d look through the all of the “get rich quick” programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section.
In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn’t care less about their customers since they didn’t offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work.
I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying!
Their programs have excellent prices, and the authors have a group of paid staff who are dedicating to helping you or providing assistance if you need any. I must say I was amazed! If you do decide to purchase any of the programs listed below, I recommend you join quickly. Most of the owners tell me they are getting an overwhelming number of sales and plan on raising prices in the near future, so order while prices are still low!

Choosing to eliminate your consumer debt is the best financial decision you can make. Having excessive debt is the cause for much worry and stress. In order to free themselves from this huge burden, many consumers acquire debt consolidation loans. Unfortunately, getting a loan to consolidate debt requires a good credit rating, homeownership, or collateral. If you do not meet the criteria for obtaining a loan, online debt management services may be the way out.

    What are Debt Management Services?

Debt management services are agencies that assist consumers in their endeavor to become debt free. There are two types of debt management services. These include agencies that charge a monthly fee for their services, and non-profit agencies. To avoid scams and fraudulent companies, it may be wise to select a non-profit agency.

The main goal of debt management services is to reduce your debts and put you on the path toward becoming debt free. To accomplish this goal, a representative from the agency will request information about your creditors and debt amounts. Once you submit this information, the representative assigned to your account will contact each creditor. Through negotiating, the agency will be able to get late fees waived and interest rates reduced.

After the debt management service and your creditors reach an agreement, the agency will lump all your debt into a single loan. Your existing credit accounts will be temporary frozen; thus, you are unable to acquire additional debt. If you decide to no longer use the debt management service, your accounts are unfrozen. Each month, payment is sent to the debt management agency, and not your existing creditors.

How to Choose an Online Debt Management Service?

Research and compare services before selecting a debt management agency. The internet is a valuable resource for finding information on various programs. Each program is different. Some programs require a minimum or maximum debt amount. Furthermore, other programs solely work with individuals who have several missed or late payments.

When comparing different debt management services, request quotes that include detail information pertaining to estimated payoff dates and monthly payments.

Are you tired of getting charged or invoiced for a directory listing you never placed? What about those purchase orders for supplies you never even ordered. Well guess what? You are not alone.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nations consumer protection agency, says that businesses, churches, fraternal and charitable organizations are losing millions of dollars a year to bogus firms that mislead them into paying for unordered and unwanted directory listings.

According to the FTC, con artists trick an organizations employees into providing a name and address so a deceptive seller can bill the organization for an unordered and often useless business directory listing. These scammers often pretend to verify or renew a companys existing directory listing. Employees often provide the information, because the scammers claim theyve done so in the past. The scammer then send as many urgent invoices as it takes to get paid, sometimes including a useless directory, sometimes not. They create confusion and count on an organization paying to avoid their hounding.

If and when this happens to you refuse to pay, the scam sellers may try to use high-pressure tactics, like threatening you with legal action. They will offer you a phony discount and claim that it’s a deal. If you received a directory they may allow you to return it (if you pay the shipping costs) but insist that you pay for the listing. These directories are usually worthless and are rarely distributed as promised. In any case if you pay for the listing, you will then receive additional invoices from the same scam artists or from others who have bought your organizations contact information.

Do some research if you are considering a listing in a legitimate business directory. Call the Better Business Bureau in your community or the publisher. Ask the company for a previous edition of the directory (or the websited for the online directory) and for documentation about distribution. It is okay to ask advertisers in previous editions about their experiences with the directory. Finally, close the gaps in your purchasing procedures and alert your staff to these scams.

Train your staff in different ways to respond to telemarketers. Remind your employees that they cannot make the decisions to order supplies. They should say something along these lines, Im not authorized to place orders. If you’re interested in selling us something, you must speak to so-and-so and obtain a purchase order. There should be two teams established: one that includes the employees who buy and receive merchandise; the second team pays the bills, and develops buying procedures. You should be skeptical of unsolicited calls. Let your staff know to say no to sellers who use high-pressure tactics. If you are mildly interested, ask the suppliers to send a catalog.

If you receive merchandise verify that the merchandise matches the shippers bill of lading and your purchase order. Pay special attention to brands and quantity, and refuse any merchandise that doesnt match up. If everything is in order, send a copy of the bill to the accounts payable department. Dont pay any supplier unless the invoice has the correct purchase order number, and the information on the invoice matches the purchase order.

The FTC suggests some steps to cease paying for services you didn’t ordered. When ordering services, make sure that purchase orders are electronic or in written form, or both. The suppliers name should be on the purchase order and there should be a P.O. number on the invoice. You can request for the buyer to send a copy of every purchase order to the accounts payable department.

Finally, you should know that you do have rights. If you receive supplies or services you didnt order, you should not have to pay but dont return unordered merchandise either. Treat any unordered merchandise as a gift because it is illegal for companies to ask you to send back the merchandise even if they offer to pay for shipping. It could be possible that the seller made a mistake, but that is usually not the case. It is also illegal for a seller to send you bills or notices for merchandise you didnt order.

When it comes to certain kinds of business-to-business merchandise sales there is protection. The FTCs Telemarketing Sales Rule regulates phone sales of non-durable office or cleaning supplies to businesses. Non-durable supplies are those that you routinely order, for instance, copier toner, or maintenance supplies. According to the FTC, telemarketers must tell you its a sales call as well as whos doing the selling before they make their pitch. By law they must tell you the cost of each item and then a total of the order. They mustr also tell you if there are restrictions, and if a sale is final or non-refundable.
